I was wondering on how to get more winning consistent leads. I usually close most of my is, but I just if I can get more leads like every day if that’s possible I own a moving company and I always see that there’s opportunities all the on Thumbtack so I just how to get that competitive advantage if any of you guys don’t mind sharing with me or given any tips or I’d appreciate and have a great day guys. Fake leads

Has anyone experienced fake leads or leads which were not properly vetted here at Thumbtack? I'm new to Thumbtack and I do bathrooms and kitchens in Milwaukee and set a lot of tile. I left two large California based leads companies Homeguide and Angi, for the above reasons. Didin't have the time or resources to argue for the refunds. Thier software was easily manipulated by people and we were sent too many mis handled leads.

Outrageous lead fees

FYI I was just charged a $79 lead fee via instant booking for a job I made $155 on. Dumbtack Support offered no help.

I'm new to this site and i'm confused. Most of the projects do not list all the details od the project. We only get those details after we contact the client, at which time we are then charged for that. However, we don't get a refund if after getting the details we realize we cannot handle the job. For example, someone list a 2 hr job for a handyman and said its a deck/porch. I responded and found out its a 2-level porch with huge support beams. I cannot do that alone nor am I licensed to do that type of thing in NC. I was still charged for the lead and they will not refund me. The lead cost me $60 I talked the customer for 60 seconds and knew I couldn't do the job.

Is there a way around this kind of bad lead/charging?
