I hate the new system. I was getting solid leads and now very few. I have excellent ratings (all 5 star) yet I'm still not getting many leads. As far as being charged, it is ridiculous to get charged just for someone contacting me. I had one person contact me and then say, nevermind, I found what I was looking for. Maybe we shouldn't be charged until we actually are at least hired or perform the wedding. I liked Thumbtack starting out, but I'm really considering moving to WeddingWire or another site. I don't understand why you made the changes that end up hurting us as pros.
I found out that I am excluded in the Instant Search because the default for Flooring Installation is Laminate. So for all other flooring pros who provide other types of installations such as Hardwood, Vinyl, Concrete, Linoleum and Engineered Wood will ALL be EXCLUDED in the search of Flooring Installation.
I have thought I did something wrong that's why I did not get a single View in the last few months. This feature needs to be fixed ASAP. Thanks
I dont understand how this works at all. does this mean that customers will be able to search me out even if i dont submit a bid or promote a service?? Does this mean that i would be charged for reply from a customer even if i would never take the job at that price point?? I took myself off the "promote" plan and just get emails about leads and choose which ones to bid on. but it seems my quotes never even get viewed. probably cause there are like 14 people bidding. what happened to the "only 5 pros could bid"? Do customers really want to be bombarded with 14 companies?? you should make a video about what a customer does when they post a job on TT. so we can see things from a customers point of view. show what questions they are asked about their needs and budget. and emails they get back. and how they see "search results"

I am pleased that I got this email as I was trying to communicate with Thumbtack and had no idea how to do so. I must have spent an hour for a "contact us" or similar link.
I am not pleased, however, with the volume of potential clients that I am receiving on your new system. When I get a new contact, I immediately send a post identifying my 38 years experience as well as linking my website and my blog post at Psychology Today. Is there a way that the potential client can immediately see these things at the same time they see my hourly?
