Not seeing my service area?

I just started using thumbtack and I keep getting leads that are out of my area. I have my service area in a 10 mile radius. I decline the jobs, but there is also no way to explain they are out of my service area. Is this normal?

@divaincantare To start I just wanted to say welcome to Thumbtack and that we're excited to have you here int he Pro Community! I just took a look over your account and I think I see what may be happening. You've set up your entire account including your targeting preferences and your travel radius at a short distance. That travel radius is what will be reflected and in place when customers are looking through the search results. When a customer reaches out to you through that search it will then come to your Inbox as a new lead. Aside from that we also have the Opportunities section, which is a secondary way to meet customers. The projects shown to you in the Opportunities are cases where a customer has already reached out directly to a pro, but we let you know about it in case you'd like to express interest as well. If you decide to quote on the job from that page you'll only pay if the customer responds. 

In Opportunities, you'll see a wider variety of projects and at varying distances, which I believe is why you've said you're seeing projects outside of your travel area. The jobs shown there will be up to 150 miles, but we just made an update to sort those by distance, which you can read more about HERE. Hopefully this helps to clear things up, but please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions.
