The better your profile, the more work you’ll get. No one knows your business better than you, but sometimes you just need a fresh perspective to put your best foot forward. That's why we're creating a new forum to get profile feedback from other pros like you.
So how does this work?
Step 1: Ask for feedback
- Post a link to your public profile
- Go to your Thumbtack profile tab
- On the right top corner of the page, click “Share Profile”
- Copy the link and post it below by clicking the "Reply" button under this post
- Add 1 to 2 sentences on any specific areas where you’d like feedback
Step 2: Give feedback
- Choose at least two profiles posted by your fellow pros.
- Share some feedback on how you think they could improve
If you don’t know what to say, here are some questions you can ask yourself:
- What’s already working well on this profile?
- What phrases, photos or reviews make you want to hire this pro?
- If you were a customer, what questions would you have after viewing this profile?
- Is there anything you can’t find on the profile that you’d want to know or see?
- What are three things that would make this profile even stronger?
To give feedback, click “Reply” on the post you’re responding to. Tag the pro you’re giving feedback to by using the “@” symbol and typing the pro’s Community username. If you don’t tag the pro, they may not see your feedback. For example: “Hi @MichelleHR! Thanks for sharing your profile with us! I have a few thoughts on how you can improve it…”.
