Paid for a lead and it wasnt a real lead

Thought a lead I got was for installing gutter guards on a home but turned out that it was a regional field recruiter looking to find people interested in learning how to install their gutter guard system and will send me to get the training needed. Disputed this and was told it doesn't rate a return of my payment for that worthless so called lead smh?
