My question is STILL why are customers given a blue button to click that says "Wants Your Availability" or "Wants and Estimate" when our hourly rate is shown to them and we are also shown to them because WE ARE AVAIALBE. Our calendar says so. The only blue box that a customer should see is : Now that you have reviewed the Pros rate, samples and reviews, please click if you are "INTERESTED IN HIRING THIS PRO". Too much money being wasted on customers just asking if I am availabe and not hearing back. Or asking for a estimate. Especially when we are specifically being shown to them because we are available. That is a choice that Thumbtack can change that will acutally help us pros getting hired and stop the click click click on way too many pros. Very simple. Encourage the customers to hire us would be a good encouraging move.
The "Check Availability" Button is a misnomer, does not apply, and only causes "ghosting" . Several pleas have been made with no results plus or minus about this problem. Assurances that "we hear you" and "we will forward your suggestion on to the programmmers" produces nothing. Is there another way to make this happen?....for the good of Pro's and Thumbtack.

After numerous pleas from Pros over the last six months or so for Thumbtack to address their issues related to the "Check Availability" button and ghosting I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the answer is probably going to be a 'No' on that one.
