We are a self funded small business. My tip is if the quote is responded to and the customer goes unresponsive we get (all would be awesome) half of the quote back. Too many times I have a quote or a request sent about my availability, just to have the client not respond and do the same thing to 3-4 other businesses. Then at the end they do not hire anyone.
@Jkjcleaning2 I agree. Also if the potential clients knew that pros had to pay for each contact, they might be a bit more thoughtful about the process. I am sure that they have no idea it costs you money for them to ask you a question.
