We are a family-owned moving company in MA. The state requires us (and every mover) to obtain an authority issued by one of the government departments, and we met all the requirements and got it. We tried to add this license to our profile many times and received "we couldn't verify" response. I contacted support 4 times during the last month, sent the official decision, explained how to find the record in a public registry - all it didn't work. At some stage one of the support specialists responded that my request had high priority and should be solved shortly, so he suggested me to be positive and keep smiling. I'd been smiling for more than a week, but it was all in vain. My last communication with the support ended with notifying me that Thumbtack finally decided not to add this badge to my profile, because they had not been able to verify the license. Making this Kafkaesque situation even more bizarre, a support specialist suggested us to post our license to our media or send to customers directly as a way to solve the problem.
Dear Pros, did someone of you have that kind of problems? Are there any suggestions to solve it? We are proud of being legal, licensed and insured company and it's such a shame that we have to prove our legitimacy.
