Promoting on Thumbtack

I tried to quote, but Thumbtack wouldn't let me until I established a "Budget" with their min dollar for weekly leads.  I do not want Thumbtack sending out my leads.  How to quote without establishing budget? Is this something new?

Re: Promoting on Thumbtack

@PG1 it sounds like this happening when you're going through and setting your preferences? If so, then we require a weekly max budget so that we know how much your willing to spend in advance and not charge you more than that amount. In addition, Thumbtack no longer sends quotes on behalf of pros. Customers will either contact you directly from where you're showing up in the search results or they can respond to the quotes you send yourself through the Jobs tab.
