That is something that I would definitely "not" recommend to do. I did that last year with an individual that reached out and then went "ghost". I repeatedly tried to follow-up, and then the individual blindly hired me and then gave me a (1) star review with no comments and then I never heard from them again. (I was later told by TT support that this individual was actually another online pro at TT as well, so you'd think that person should know better.) It's amazing in the fact that TT tells to keep following up with non-responders (like you attest to doing), but when we receive an illegitimate review, TT does nothing to correct/expunge this unwarranted blight from ones profile. This has happened twice now. All of my other reviews have been (5) stars, yet TT does nothing.

 

So I would say it is NOT worth the headache as you portend.

I have been getting ghosted 8 out of every 10 leads for about two months now! I get the initial message "can you give an estimate" then nothing from there. I respond immediately and follow up regularly with no response! I have spent $1,500.00 - $2,500 a month for over a year now! If things don't change soon I will have no choice but to drop TT!

That's why I have Promote off! Tired of getting "What's your estimate?".  My pricing is in my profile and quotes page, but all they see in the searches is a price with "estimate" written. That needs to change. As well as the lead cost.

Yup -- what U just said.
Ive had customers take as long as 2 or 3 weeks to actually 'Respond'.
But the 'record' ....for ME?
Is a customer who recently scheduled with me---- 3-YEARS-AFTER... our initial contact.
