Got Charged for a FAKE LEAD

The irony is Thumbtack encourages FAST RESPONSES for professionals, which I did..However the response back from this bogus lead came back a week later which is unlikely legitimate.

The phone number the fake customer left was from a ROBOCALL. A church telepmarketing recording .."asking me if I needed a prayer answered" (559) 216-1064.

I asked the Thumbtack chat customer service rep. for a refund, "Jane" said no. I am not satisfied with Thumbtacks customer service. The fake lead cost me $30. See the attachment. I am not lying nor do I think responding back with a telemarketing phone number is funny. Get your act together Thumbtack.

Misleading emails. Fake leads.

I was sent an email saying I was the only pro contacted needless to say I was automatically charge $75 for a lead that never even responded when I finally did get in touch with the customer a week later I was told that thumbtack lied to me that she contacted many contractors upon talking to thumb tack they support specialist admitted that she had contacted many contractors so I wanted to know why did I get an email saying I was the only one they lied in order to charge me $75 and I wonder how many times did they do it in the past

@Phspatrick53 I'm sorry to hear about the experience, but I'm happy to look into this and get you more clarification. Can you send me a private message with the name of the customer and a screenshot of the email you received?
