Today we are excited to announce a new pilot partnership between Thumbtack and Alia to provide portable benefits to house cleaners using Thumbtack in New York and California.
Eligible house cleaners will receive an email inviting them to sign up for Alia, and share their Alia profile with their customers. Alia makes it easy for customers to contribute to a pro’s benefits, and simple for pros to claim or purchase the benefits they need, like Paid Time Off, life insurance, disability insurance, critical illness insurance or accident insurance.
To kick off the program, each house cleaner who signs up for Alia will receive $25 in credit on us.
We know getting access to benefits is one of the biggest challenges when starting your own business. We are excited to pilot this program and find ways to expand access to benefits to more pros in the future. If you have questions about Alia, you can visit myalia.org and we’ll keep you updated as the program expands to more pros.
