With the old system, we could tell how many pros were contacted by a client, before we committed to bidding on the job. This is very important. Who would pay to bid on a job that already had several bids?
I was recently told by a rep on the TT chat that this is no longer possible.
I was told that the "pros contacted" we see on potential jobs listings represents the number of pros that the client's initial search produced who *declined* the job before the job got sent out to the masses.
So, which is it? And does this mean we have to purchase and bid on a lead to find out how many pros have actually bid on the job?
@HandyMike if you look at the jobs in your jobs tab, you'll see that it shows "pros contacted" in the request details. Pros contacted does indeed indicate how many pros the customer is in contact with. Those pros could include pros who the customer reached out to from their search, and the pros who quoted on the job from the jobs tab. Let me know if you have any other questions!
