I was a fan of the set pricing per quote but not a fan of the fact that I was charged each time I sent one out without knowing for sure there was a return on my investment. Then you changed the price structure so that I am only charged once a potential client responds to my quote. Which in theory seemed better but now your fees are astronomical in comparison to what they used to be. A person responding to a quote could simply be writing to tell me they booked a competitor yet Thumbtack still pulls from my bank account. I can send 10 quotes, get responses on 2-4 of them and im charge almost $100 in fees. It will force me to have to raise pricing or simply not turn a profit when its all said and done. If this isnt fixed I will soon be using other sites in place of this one. Why not charge me when the client confirmed that they have hired me and have set pricing rather than varying the price per quote? This provides me with guaranteed business from Thumbtack and confirms a return on investment for using this site.
