I have reduced my use of Thumbtack significantly since the pricing change. I only respond if I think the fit is perfect since it's such a big charge and there's still no guarantee that business will be generated. So, since the pricing change I've probably only quote 2-3 times, and got one hit. Before, I was responding almost daily. I think the new pricing structure is a deterrent for professionals to reply to requests, and likely to hurt Thumbtack's branding. I used to love Thumbtack and now I find it more of a nuisance with all the alerts but not actually responding to them. Old system far more effective from my standpoint. Thanks for asking!
