I'm a photographer and the photos I post on Thumbtack have little clarity, if any.  I can't believe I ever get hired because they look absolutely horrible. I've called customer service about this but all I got was they'd pass it along.  Well, that was at least a year ago and no change.  Does anyone have any hints on what I can do?  I really like Thumbtack but this is definitely an area where improvement needs to be made.   ... I'm actually having just the opposite experience.  I'm getting leads on jobs and getting hired, more than ever before.  And meeting really fantastic people along ther way.  I recently went to the the Thumbtack event in Chicago.  One of the things I learned is that having quick response time, positive reviews and transparent pricing, this puts you at the top of the search platform.   I've gotten down on Thumbtack in the past, especially after they raised the prices on leads.  I'm still not excited about the amount I'm being charged, but I am getting jobs.  Billie, maybe you can call Thumbtack, talk to someone about your experience, and possibly they can give you advice.  I've called the main office before when I've had an issue and found customer service to be very responsive.  Hope this all works out for you. ...
