Okay - so the first year of my wedding officiant business, my goals were volume, pictures, and testimonials. So I charged less than most of the others, and got 65 gigs. My second year, I got 85. My prices were low, but my value was high. 95-99% of my business back then was TT. I think that basically TT customers want cheap prices - they're close to groupon customers. So, now that I'm in my 4th year as a wedding officiant, and I have packages with options, and my prices are more competitive, because they can be, and because my time is really worth it, I am getting most of my business via my website, and I've stopped using "automatic quoting" because it was costing me too much. My prices are more of the going rate - which TT buyers are mostly looking for a deal. I do get SOME customers from TT now, but it's more like 10% of my business compared with before.
