I just got off the phone with Thumbtack about this same issue. This is beyond ridiculous!!!!!! I was so pissed during the call, I asked them not to take the money for the leads immediately from my bank account until the job is done and the customer gives me a review. Thumbtack is quick to charge all 10 vendors for the same job request but they want you to wait to increase your hire count by hoping for a review which only 1 out of every 10 clients provide. Why did they change the process? This was working perfectly when we used to mark a job "in progress." Why fix a system that is not broken.
