Thanks to everyone in the class! i own Dj Yella dj entertainment service out of Mobile, Alabama. I travel the gulf coast areas especially the many beaches in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi. You are right, i am on the decline also when i got to be a Top Pro it wasnt like this. i will have to look else where if it doesnt change. i am being charged for phony leads and not getting good leads.

Something is not right at TT. I am on the decline with leads when i was getting leads all the time. My profile is the same as the old system. I got to be a Top Pro and now im not sure what is going on. Alot of others feel this way and if it doesnt change i will have to take my talents elsewhere. I make it off of leads and this new system at TT is not working for me!

I have notified you all on several occasions when this happen and you all did look into it.. I had someone request an 8 hour morning wedding for a Tuesday and requesting lights, mc service etc. hit my budget for over $25.00. it was credited after a few days but leads like this need to be detected before they hit our budgets!

I have had that happen to me too. Thumbtack needs to find a way to distinguish between a real lead and a bogus lead. We should not be charged for a lead that does not respond after the intial request. That only eats our budgets up! Thumbtack.com will lose pros eventually if this keeps happening. We dont want to just throw our money away!

that pisses me off too. some of those leads are just curious people not even seeking to hire. we should not be charged for leads like that and Thumbtack should know that!! Its costing us money for leads that are only doing research. Thumbtack should have something to separate the 2.

some contacts are bogus and i feel it may be some of the competition doing this to eat your budget up. They need to figure a way to find out if they are legit or not.

I have had bogus or not legit inquiries from customers supposedly looking for a dj and using my credits. They inquire but do not respond after my credits have been used. There needs to be a way to ensure the customers are definately seeking a dj or the one's that are just playing and using our budget money.

Yes i would like to know how the ranking works and where my service is ranked and does my service get quotes sent out before all other djs? I would like to communcate with some of the clients that are looking at my quotes for questions and answers before they hire. is that possible?
