I totally agree. I’m afraid to let them auto charge me for leads that turn out to ve worthless and how does thumbtacks determine the price they charge us for each lead? Seriously, can anyone please tell me? Does anyone know?

I'm new to thumbtacks and I just started my own business, sometimes I don't know what to charge people but I'm learning because of the time, money and effort invested in each job. I wonder if thumbtacks charges the leads as if it were a 10% commission of what they think we're charging the customers?
