While I am still a pro on Thumbtack, I am only so because I have an outstanding credit that I stubbornly refuse to lose because you over charged me on a potential client that left me a bogus message and failed to go through after she said she hired me. And by overcharged I mean, there was no basis for WHY you charged me what you did and no one could answer why one client would be more than another. I have commented many times before in a very disgruntled way that Thumbtack clearly isn't doing it's job protecting pros hence why I barely use it anymore. I am a pro that is walking based on the fact that you care more about customers than about us, who oh by the way ARE YOUR customers and your bread and butter. By watching this video, I felt like I was in the twilight zone. There was nothing outstanding, earth shattering or helpful to the pro except that, "you are still working on it and so appreciate our comments." How long are you going to work on this and continue to lose pros? I just don't get it. Here is an idea! How about we pay for clients that hire us. That seems very fair for all. If we get hired, we pay. What on earth am I missing here??? Actually, I don't think I am missing anything. It is you who is missing the entire point for us pros.
