Key problem I have issues with is when a customer responded that they wanted to talk with me, and I reached out immediately, but they never would get back to me. I was charged and never had an actual discussion or chance to earn their business. I don’t “cry wolf” but this was a legitimate problem and the response I got from Thumbtack was basically “tough luck.... can’t help you.” They ought to weigh the situation and review the history of the pro and make a decision to refund the charge if it’s warranted. If a pro abuses that or isn’t being reasonable, then that can be addressed as well. Thanks for the chance to express my concerns!
