How do you stop the Partial Match leads

My Leads portal is getting clogged with partial match leads for services that I am not licensed for. This is insane.

  • I've had my business hidden on Thumbtack since March except for a few hit and miss cases where I forgot to re-hide my business, this pretty much solved my issue where people made requests that aren't even remotely related to the services we actually offer..

  • The silence from Thumbtack on this is deafening.

I know it can seem frustrating when your feedback is not addressed. There are hundreds of categories on Thumbtack, so category specific feedback can often take time to get addressed. I would strongly recommend that you continue to send this feedback to support@thumbtack.com to be sure that it is logged under your account, because the more feedback received, the more likelihood that you will see improvements.

  • I see that a lot, send an email to support@thumbtack. I have.
    This is the process:
    Me send email.
Auto-reply that says I need to fill out a web form.
    Me: fill out web form
Email reply from actual thumbtack person from support@thumbtack.com
Me: reply with additional pertinent information.
Auto-reply that says I need to fill out a web form.
    Me: give up.
    Thumbtack: profit!

I believe when you fill that out it creates a case and logs it, so you are still getting the feedback in! Thank you for the patience!

I must be the only one who is here to make money for myself, everyone else wants to fix Thumbtack's software. That's why your main forum is filled with people singing Thumbtack's praises. A third year software developer has solutions for your problems. Listen to him. I, personally have been debugging software since 1997. I found a way to hack Bark.com, one of your competitors and I made $54.11/hr. while to doing it. Unlike Thumbtack, where I make minimum wage.
For a hundred grand a month, I can fix your issues. I can restore the reasons that my business is spending 80% less than we were a year ago on your product. This is a bargain. Yes, you pay me $100,000/mo. and I will make Thumbtack more profitable and most importantly, make your Pros happy so they'll continue to spend money with you. Right now, you're still chasing the low hanging fruit and thinking there will be more. In time, the low hanging fruit will go away since Thumbtack collected it all.

Why am I offering such a huge number? Because I will need to pause my goals and dreams to fix your software and it's simply not worth it at any lower amount. I am building my empire, not Thumbtack's. However, everyone has his price. And mine is 1.2 million per year to pause my business that has tripled in value in a year

I look forward to the day when I delete Thumbtack, but I know it's more likely they will "cancel" me first.

    AmIRite?
