Instant booking is a lose-lose for everybody.

Thumbtack. You're losing money because pros accounts are not active because they have them on pause more than they would if instant booking wasn't here.

Plain and simple pros are spending less money on thumbtack now for sure You're not making more money because you charge more and did some funky kamikaze requirements.

Pros are losing money because they are not able to pick up jobs now because either they don't want to pay the high prices or they can't afford them anymore.

When you do a job that's like $160 or something and you're taking 45 to $65 of that It doesn't even make sense how someone would stay in business with a business model like that. If that was the reality for somebody that Was thinking about starting a business they wouldn't even start the business because it wouldn't make any business sense.

Obviously thank God you're not the only way we bring in business but it just doesn't make sense what you guys are doing here. Literally seems like you guys are going out of business and you don't care anymore.

You're not making more money from us You're making less.

Please revert back to the thumbtack pre-instant book. You guys definitely made an error.

Unfortunately us pros fall on deaf ears past customer reps. They all say the same thing over and over again like the script taped to their desk tells them to say adjust max lead prices or this is against our refund policy even when bad leads are running rampant on instant book. Angie’s list got in trouble for the same exact thing report instant booking and the refund policies to the FTC for bad business practices. I was looking at the pros that are left in my category and they are all new with very few reviews and they will be jumping ship as well with all the legitimate business owners on this app. Thumbtack is quickly becoming the platform for fly by nighters with YouTube degrees that don’t pay taxes or have insurance for their business. I really hope they revert back to no instant book it is not working and is only benefits one side and that is thumbtack.
