  • The most recent change which prompted this poll is Thumbtack is now taking away customer's real phone numbers. How can this possibly improve my - your customer's - experience?

    Hi @DerHilfer_LLC this is a limited time trial — for this trial, the call will use a temporary number to protect the customer's privacy. You won’t be able to see the customer’s information in your Thumbtack account. If you decide to work together and you need their direct contact information, you'll want to ask for it during the call itself. Direct calls are free during this experiment, allowing us to test their impact on lead conversion without affecting pros' costs. This helps evaluate the feature's value before potentially adding it to the full experience on Thumbtack. I would definitely recommend sending your feedback about this experience to support@thumbtack.com since teams will be very closely monitoring all feedback on this trial — and I want to make sure your feedback is logged.
