Review with inaccurate statements

Options

What is the TT policy on statements in reviews that can be proven false via screen grabs directly from the lead themself?

If what is said in the message is X and their review says Y does that violate your review terms of service and qualify to be removed?

Hi @HSConstruct and thank you for posting. As a former pro I completely understand how much it stings when you get a negative review, especially when it doesn't feel warranted — so I am sorry about this! We don't remove or edit reviews (unless they violate TT's Content Policy), but I did see that you responded to the review on your profile and explained your experience — this will certainly help other potential customers not only see how you are to work with, but also see that you take your customers' feedback seriously.

I would recommend reaching out to some past customers who have not left you a review yet and seeing if you can get a few more reviews to balance this one out. You can have up to 10 unverified reviews (customers not from Thumbtack) and you can import up to 100 reviews from Google.

    Hope this helps!
