...The other $hoe drop$....

While waiting for the LOOONG time it takes for these "Thumbtack Payments" to clear(!), I now see that soon TTack will be offering a 1% "instant transfer fee."

Aha. I was waiting for that to appear - TTack is obviously cashing in on this feature, earning interest for the time the money paid by the customer sits in the "cue," then we get it without any deductions. Make$ $en$e - and ¢ent$!

🤑

I don't know about you other Pros, but I see TTack working hard to get users to use their payment process - sometimes I don't even to get to promote other methods of payment- they'll use the TTack payment feature before I even say anything - a particular problem for one customer who needed their computer repaired FAST - but - we have to wait for the funds to clear to buy the parts! 😥

(If only TTack would go into a partnership w the Pros over this payment thing - rather than offer "convenience," "trust(!)" and other "advantages;" since they're pushing it so hard, a "cashback" program or something would get the Pros to help them w their money making scheme)

All of this leads to the inevitable, in my mind - since Ttack is in this money making program, NO MORE "CREDIT" for bad leads. A FULL REFUND TO THE FUNDING SOURCE seems to be a thing that can happen now, so WE can choose to spend our money THE WAY WE WANT TO, instead of having our money reserved for ttack use only when it should've never been charged anyway.😤

Any fees associated with payments are to cover the costs from Stripe, the payment processor — Thumbtack is not making any money off of these transactions.
