Contacting Support
Hello! I've made several attempts to contact support via text and the email they list as support@thumbtack.com . I am not receiving a response. Can anyone point me in the direction of a phone number? I had a lead fall through due to the cost of my hourly rate that shows on my profile and preferences but was too high for the potential client to pay so she opted not to use me once I went over it with her on the phone. She was kind enough to submit a message on the Thumbtack messaging system stating she opted not to use me because she couldn't afford my rate. Is this refundable?

Yes! You just have to go to https://help.thumbtack.com/ and make sure you're logged in with your Thumbtack Pro credentials. Then there is a link that says Request a Refund, which takes you to https://www.thumbtack.com/payments/help/ . Hope that helps! 😎

Support will not refund that lead most likely. They will only refund leads for specific reasons. Because someone cannot afford your rate isn't one of them, unfortunately. They might give you a courtesy credit - but those are limited.
