"Customer went with a different pro" LIE

I am concerned with the prompt stated above and it's use on Thumbtack pros. I was literally on the phone with a client when he canceled his project (NOT BOOKING) and this is the message that was shown to me in our chat "customer went with a different pro". When the customer did not infact go with another pro but canceled the project. However we are still charged for it while also being stripped of the customers contact information...To charge a person, lie and tell then they chose another company, then strip them of the contact they paid for seems really predatory I mean it's a blatant lie!!!! There is no way we can trust Thumbtack to " put feedback in action" when they already have habitually egregious practices.

The project has not been cancelled and another pro was marked as hired, it could be possible that the customer didn't want to say they hired another pro, but whatever the case may be, they marked a pro as hired and that is why it appears that way on your end.
