Suspicious Leads — Same Job Requests for $85?

Hi everyone,

In the past 1–2 days, I’ve been receiving multiple leads for “Furniture Assembly” with the exact same setup: two desks or tables, always listed at $85.

Same format. Same price. Same type of job.

It’s starting to feel suspicious — like someone is trying to game the system or make pros lose money and quit this category.

Has anyone else noticed this pattern?

Would love to hear your experience or opinion on what’s going on.

Hi @AlexProSolutions and sorry I didn't see this earlier! Have you reported these leads? I would definitely recommend doing that. You can do that within the messenger in that lead by clicking on the three dots at the top right and you should see "report" there as an option. Would also recommend sending an email to support@thumbtack.com
