Currently we use Gorilla Desk for our CRM, and hate that it doesn't connect with Thumbtack.

After a cleaning lead comes in, I think the first step is to respond quickly but also make the message personal.

For cleaning services, the customer usually wants to know three things: Can you help, how much will it cost, and when are you available? I try to answer clearly while also asking the right questions so the quote is accurate.

A few important questions are: How many bedrooms and bathrooms? What type of cleaning do you need? Is it standard, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out, or recurring? Are there pets? What is the condition of the home? What date works best?

The easier you make the next step, the better. A fast reply matters, but a clear reply builds trust.

As a photographer, the targeting preferences and travel radius settings are my absolute lifelines. They allow me to filter out jobs that require too much commute time, ensuring I only accept local sessions or travel-heavy bookings when it genuinely makes sense for my schedule and margins.

Great additions all around, thanks for keeping this thread going!

@Jonathan_Stickland , that's a real gap, not connecting to your CRM means extra manual work syncing leads, that's worth flagging as feedback since integration coverage is something the team actively tracks interest on.

@MyCleanCharlotteMaid , that's a great breakdown, asking the right qualifying questions upfront (bedrooms, pets, condition, cleaning type) is exactly what turns a fast reply into a trustworthy one instead of just a quick one, that's the kind of detail that separates a real quote from a guess.

@CoffeeEdgeMedia , that's a smart way to use targeting and travel radius, treating it as a margin and schedule filter rather than just a way to get more leads is exactly the mindset that keeps volume from turning into unprofitable bookings.

    Thank you all for sharing!
