Is there a way to expand location settings to include virtual (Audio Recording)?

Noiserock Treehouse (intro vid here). I'm a music producer and instructor in Austin Texas.

I got started recording myself and then others. When I started I got an 8 track recorder thinking I could sound like the Beatles. I still don't sound like the Beatles but I sound like myself and help people put out some amazing songs which I would argue is even better.

Trying to get those sweet lead credits so here's my question:
Is there a way to expand location settings to include virtual (Audio Recording)?

I only get local leads, but a lot of my production work and lessons can be done remote so I'd love to expand but I never had the option.

For your question, Thumbtack does have an "I work remotely (phone or internet)" option within travel preferences for services that support remote work. When available, selecting it can open you up to customers outside your local area.

If you're not seeing that option, it may mean remote work isn't currently available for the specific service category you have set up. Since you offer both music production and lessons, I'd recommend checking the travel preferences for each service individually to see what options are available.

If you still don't see a remote option for a service you believe should support it, I'd also recommend reaching out to support@thumbtack.com. They can take a closer look at how your services are set up and confirm what options are currently available for your account.
