Hey everyone, Lawrence here with Buffalo Property Inspections. We're a veteran owned and operated home inspection company based in North Richland Hills, covering the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

We got started in 2023. The team came together around people with backgrounds in construction, engineering, and military service, which turned out to be a good mix for this work. Our inspectors are TREC licensed and InterNACHI certified, and we handle buyer's inspections, new construction and pre-drywall, 11-month builder warranty inspections, and pre-listing work across DFW.

Question for the group, and it's a real one: how do you protect your response time when the work itself makes you unreachable? A thorough inspection runs about three hours, and for a good chunk of that I'm in an attic or a crawl space with no signal. By the time I'm out, a lead can already be an hour cold. For those of you in trades where you're physically off-grid during the job, what actually works? An answering service, a dedicated office person, canned first replies, something else? Curious what's worked and what hasn't.
