Exterior Trim Exclusion Option

I do a lot of interior trim and molding work but am currently forced to pay for leads that are for exterior trim work. Which most often is not really trim work, but siding or soffit repair. I feel there should be an option to exclude exterior trim work since this is not really related to interior trim work.

Hi @Csgardner11 , thanks for sharing this. I can understand why exterior trim leads would be frustrating when your work is focused primarily on interior trim and molding.

If your account is using Smarter Lead Matching, you can refine the types of jobs you'd like to receive. From your Services page, select the applicable trade and Refine your matches. From there, you can add job types that aren't a good fit to Get less like these. This signals the matching system to deprioritize similar jobs going forward. It's important to note that these preferences help guide matching, but they aren't a strict block on those job types.

If you receive a new lead for work that genuinely isn't something you do, you may also see the Can't do it option before responding to the customer. Selecting Not what I do and completing the prompts helps the system better understand your preferences and, when eligible through this flow, provides a refund for the mismatched lead.

And if exterior trim isn't available as a job type when refining your matches, there's also a "Can't find the job type you need? Tell us" option where you can submit that feedback directly.

I also hear your broader suggestion that interior and exterior trim should be easier to distinguish when setting preferences, and that's helpful category-specific feedback to surface to the appropriate team.
