Complaint regarding new "budget"

Tonight I got this email:

A change to how your budget works

Starting in November, we're changing how we charge for the lead that uses up your remaining weekly budget.

Today, if a lead costs more than what's left in your budget, you only pay what remains in your budget. Going forward, you'll pay the full lead cost.

Here's an example:
You have $15 left in your budget and get a $25 lead. Today you'd pay $15. Starting in November, you'll pay $25.

What to know:

How far this charge can take you over your budget is limited, based on the size of your budget.

Once you hit your budget, you'll stop showing up for new customers until your budget resets.

You can change your budget anytime.

I honestly want to know what this is supposed to tell folks like myself with currently set unlimited budgets.

I am now incentivized to turn this off. I am now told to constantly be micromanaging my budget.

Why would I not take a moment and average out my lead cost, and reset my budget after every lead that comes in? Talk about a massive discount on leads. Anyone who goes this route, they will be able to be far more competitive long term because they will average far lower cost of acquisition.

I am not happy seeing everything catered and built around my weaker competition. How about some love and movement towards your heavy spenders who consistently provide top tier service.

Why am I being punished?
