Hi, I’m Val. My background is in tech and business writing and editing (manuals, online help, trade mag. articles, etc.). I want to network with others who are producing these types of items rather than sales and marketing materials.

Am I in the right community?

Also, I want to know whether the “Thumbtack customers are homeowners” [who seek out businesses to do home-based repairs or improvements] is the focus that I heard about in the recent webinar.

Does this mean that professionals, like me, who work much in “the cloud”,[with clients who are individuals or businesses who need a “portable” product to produce quality publications and documents for professional, personal, or business needs] may be overlooked by Thumbtack?
