I don't quite understand how all this works, could someone please help me out?

@JCAREY2025 can you be a little more specific? Are you wanting help with how Thumbtack works in general? A good place to start would be here, and there are additional articles/videos linked at the bottom of this one. Also, when you log in, you will see a "New Pro Success Guide" (screenshot below) and it is basically a step by step guide with a lot of helpful information/videos. I would recommend going through all of that.
