Hi @Ruan, and welcome to the Thumbtack Community! 👋

That's a great question, and one that almost every successful pro has asked when they were just getting started.

One resource I'd highly recommend is our New Pro Hub, especially this discussion: "What's one simple action a new pro can take in their first 30 days to win more jobs?" You'll find practical advice from both experienced pros and the Community team that can help you build momentum early on.

A few tips that come up again and again are responding to leads quickly, personalizing your messages instead of using the same response every time, and asking happy customers for reviews whenever possible.

Have you already finished setting up your Pro account, like completing your profile, adding photos, setting your targeting preferences, and reviewing your pricing? That can make a big difference in helping you get off to a strong start.

Speed to lead. Make the entire process seamless for the potential customer. You have to find a creative way to standout from the rest of your competitors and quickly. Different for everyone, but find your mojo and put the pedal to the metal.

I do not think there is only one secret. For cleaning services, closing more jobs comes down to speed, trust, clarity, and follow-up.

Customers are inviting someone into their home, so they need to feel comfortable. A fast response helps, but the message also needs to be clear and professional.

I think strong reviews, real photos, clear service descriptions, and simple pricing explanations make a big difference. It also helps to ask the right questions instead of giving a rushed quote.

The goal is to make the customer feel confident that you understand what they need and that there will be no surprises.
