How do you all follow up with clients after a job is completed?
Once a job is completed, how do you all stay top of mind with your clients? Is it via a newsletter, email blast, text? I wonder how this is done without being too buggy.

Hi @MarriageByMari , great question! I think a mix of personal emails or texts and occasional check-ins works well, depending on your business and the relationship you've built with the customer. The key is giving them a genuine reason to hear from you so it doesn't feel like you're constantly marketing to them.
I'd also make asking for a review part of your immediate post-job follow-up. It's a natural opportunity to thank the customer while the experience is still fresh, strengthen your Thumbtack profile, and keep the relationship open for future work and referrals.
We actually asked some of our Top Pros how they ask for reviews, including when they ask and how they make the request feel natural. You can check out their advice here:
After that, occasional check-ins, seasonal messages, or helpful reminders can help you stay top of mind. The goal isn't just another booking right away, but building a relationship where a happy customer thinks of you again when they need your service or when someone they know asks for a recommendation.
Would love to hear from other pros too! What's worked best for keeping past customers connected and turning them into repeat clients?
