is anyone else using automated replies for leads by using AI? Are you happy with that? Is it working for you?

cause it’s not always accurate and different than what you would answer yourself.

Hi @Doctorlock_247 , great question! I'd definitely be interested to hear what other pros are experiencing with this too.

Thumbtack has a couple of built-in options that can help with response time, including Quick Replies for saved responses and Front Desk for more hands-off help managing incoming messages.

If you're using a separate AI tool, I think the balance is making sure speed doesn't come at the expense of accuracy or personalization. Generic AI responses can sometimes miss important context around a customer's specific project, pricing, or scope, so reviewing what gets sent is still important.

Curious to hear from others using Quick Replies, Front Desk, or third-party AI tools. What's actually working well for you?

I think AI and saved replies can be helpful, especially for responding faster, but they still need to be used carefully.

For cleaning leads, every job can be different. A standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and recurring service all have different scopes. The quote can also change based on home size, condition, pets, add-ons, and timing.

So I think automation is best for helping with speed and consistency, but a real person should still review the details before confirming price or availability.

Customers want fast replies, but they also want accurate answers. The best approach is to use tools to save time while still keeping the conversation personal and helpful.
