I’m a new lawn care professional looking to grow my business through Thumbtack. What strategies have helped you win more jobs, manage lead costs, and convert one-time customers into recurring lawn care clients? I’d especially appreciate advice on response time, pricing, estimates, follow-ups, and earning early reviews.

Hey @cleanairlawncareslc ! 👋 These are all great areas to focus on when you’re getting started.

A few things we consistently hear from Top Pros are to respond quickly, keep your services and pricing clear, follow up when you don’t hear back, and ask happy customers for reviews after the job. Since recurring lawn care is your goal, you can also introduce your ongoing service options early instead of waiting for customers to come back on their own.

For managing lead costs, keep an eye on your targeting, budget, and the types of jobs that are actually turning into customers, then adjust based on what’s working.

For example: if you notice that weekly mowing leads are turning into recurring customers more often than one-time cleanup jobs, you might focus more of your targeting and budget on mowing and recurring lawn care services.
