    LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN.

Get so good with your pitch that you don't need to think about it. Instead focus your attention to the customer, and try and figure out what their goals, dreams, and needs are. Listen 10x harder than you talk.

For cleaning jobs, qualifying the lead before saying yes is very important because every home is different.

I would ask about the home size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, service type, condition of the home, pets, preferred date, and any add-ons like baseboards, inside appliances, laundry, or move-out details.

A customer may ask for a regular cleaning, but the home may actually need a deep cleaning or move-out cleaning. If that is not clarified upfront, it can lead to confusion about price, time, and expectations.

Qualifying is not about making the process harder. It is about making sure the customer gets the right service and the pro has enough time, supplies, and labor to do the job properly.

Clear questions at the beginning usually lead to a smoother appointment.
