Hi @Property101 , welcome to the Community, Edith! 👋 Great to have another cleaning Pro here from Texas!
For getting more customers through Thumbtack, I'd start by making sure your job preferences and service area are focused on the cleaning jobs and locations that make the most sense for your business. I'd also make your profile as strong as possible with photos of your work, clear information about the types of cleaning you offer, and reviews from happy customers.
And don't forget about referrals and repeat business after the first job! A great cleaning experience can turn one Thumbtack customer into a recurring client or someone who recommends you to friends and family.
If you're also looking to network with other Pros in your industry, we recently put together a thread with Community members who work in cleaning and home organizing. You can find and connect with them here:

Hopefully that helps you find a few fellow Pros to connect and exchange ideas with! 😊

For a cleaning business, I think getting more leads starts with making your profile as clear, trustworthy, and helpful as possible.
Customers are inviting someone into their home, so they want to feel confident before reaching out. I would focus on adding real cleaning photos, before-and-after results, clear service descriptions, and reviews from satisfied customers.
It also helps to explain exactly what services you offer. Standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, recurring cleaning, and Airbnb turnovers all serve different customer needs.
Another thing I would recommend is keeping your service areas and availability accurate. You want to attract customers you can realistically serve rather than receiving inquiries that are too far away or outside your scope.
Referrals are important too. After a successful cleaning, thank the customer, ask for an honest review, and let them know you appreciate recommendations to friends, family, or neighbors.
I think the goal should be building a strong reputation that attracts the right customers, not just increasing the number of inquiries.
