Now I'm getting charged for leads that I'm not licensed for, from a customer who posted it twice

Not a happy camper. Why should a structural engineer get charged twice for a lead where the customer needs an architect. Someone explain that, please.

I took a quick look and I didn't see any leads that you were charged twice for — however if that does happen, please submit that for a refund. Also, if customers are requesting a service that you do not offer, please submit those too.

  • @DustiO do you know how I can get a copy of my agreement with ThumbTack? I should not be paying for leads that are not in my service offering. That, according to the FTC, is a violation of Section 5(a) of the Federal Trade Commission Act.

You can see Thumbtack's terms of use here - and like I said, please submit jobs that our outside your job preferences for a refund.
