Thumbtack Lead Prices Exorbitant

Over the last 6 months, Thumback has raised lead prices by 50% and allows for far too much competition. I'm on the brink of going out of business, spending thoursands of dollars per month. Is this common?

@JulietH I'm sorry to hear this. Have you already tried lowering your Max Lead Prices? Maybe you can connect with @Bretdouglas and see if he has any pointers too. In the meantime I will also share this feedback with our teams.

Thumbtack is such an amazing app. Dusty really cares about the pros and there are pros who will reach out every day to make sure that other pros feel the love and that we all succeed. I just got home and I'm about to give you a shout right now and see what we can do to help you out

Hi Brett and Dusti, Brett and I spoke last week. As previously mentioned, I've been a Thumbtack Pro since its inception. But these last several months, I have rarely landed new clients. The leads I do recieve are competative, expensive, and by and large, unserious. I too am a top pro who provides college counseling, test prep, and tutoring services, but for the first time in 10 years, depsite my 145 reviews and personalized expertise, few custumers are reaching out for college counseling or test prep. I look forwad to recieving advice and understanding why landing jobs has become so much more difficult. Thank you.
