Thumbtack Android App not working for me
@DustiO I'm wondering if others are having trouble with the Android Thumbtack app for Pros. For a couple of days, any time I try to open it on my LG smart phones, I get a message pop-up that says "This version Thumbtack for Professionals is out-of-date. Update your app to keep finding new customers on Thumbtack."
Then when I click on "update", the Google Playstore says that I already have the app installed. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling and it still doesn't work.
I put in a ticket with Thumbtack tech support yesterday over texting and they said they would email me when it is resolved. In the meantime, they said I can use the web version on my laptop or mobile, but I don't like it as well, so I haven't been using as much as I normally would.
I sure hope they get it fixed soon. This will cut into my business.
Is any one else having this problem?

@DustiO I just received a response from Thumbtack Tech support, and they said that my Android 8.1 phones are no longer supported by the Thumbtack Pro app. They said my Android has to be 9.0 or higher to be supported.
The tech said I can use the website, but I'm not sure if that will have all the features that I've grown accustomed to. I like the visual and sound notifications that I get with the app, so I don't miss a contact. Not sure if these will be available just by using the web site on my mobile phone.

Oh mannnn! You'll have basically the same features in the web version (that's where I always work since I am always on my computer). I'm sorry about that!!!

@DustiO It's OK. I just went ahead and bought a new phone. My work phone was from 2018 and it's time for an upgrade anyway. :)

@Jennifer_Longociu Well, at least you now have a new phone haha! I absolutely hate getting a new phone and I avoid it for as long as possible! Hopefully everything works well now!
