From the worst week ever on Thumbtack to one of the best in less than 3 days

Hey guys it's Brett from Central Florida. Last week was an absolute disaster for me and I lost about $500 on bids. Leads that certainly didn't work out for me and I felt some of it should have been refunded. Out of the whole mess I did get about $23 refunded

But through the whole experience I worked with Dustio to study my preference categories. I was amazed to look at some of the landscape categories that when you check on the preferences that encompass all other categories that I still had separate leads on. So I went in there and removed any of that stuff that I had a separate category on so that I can't get charged for that price on a heavier lead.

So it was a great learning curve. But to follow up in the last 2 days I have been so blessed to have sold over $20,000 in landscape jobs.

I so despaired last week and was so upset that my beautiful Thumbtack after all those years had disappointed me that week. I should have just waited two more days before I said anything as the sun's come back out again the clouds have parted

I post this stuff because I'm not employed by thumbtack I'm a common pro just like everyone else who's just trying to make a living I have ups and downs just like you and I'm an honest person I'm going to share the good and the bad
