Top Pro Eligibility Questions
@DustiO Hello! I am trying to become a Top Pro for the first time. Once I become one, can you tell me how many points I need to accumulate each period to remain a Top Pro?
Also, since as a hypnotherapist I don't seem to be eligible for instant bookings, which yield 200 points, is there any other way for me to achieve points other than 100 for each customer response? Thanks!

@DustiO P.S. Can I subscribe to new messages in the Thumbtack Community, so they are sent to my email automatically? I just noticed there is an announcement about instant bookings that I would have never seen if I hadn't just stumbled upon it. Thanks!

You can see all of the details about how the Pro Rewards program works here, but to answer your question you'll need 2,400 points each period (3 months).
There isn't currently a way to opt in to that kind of notification, but I sure wish there was! Maybe set yourself a calendar reminder to check the Community weekly or something? Kind of hack-y, but it would do the trick!

@DustiO Regarding the 2,400 points for Pro status, what I'm really asking is this…Once you already have Pro status, do you need to obtain 2,400 points AGAIN in order to maintain it? That seems like an awful lot! I was hoping it would be a lesser amount, such as 1,200, to maintain Pro status once you achieve it. Hope my question makes sense.

Yes, you'll need to meet the requirements each rewards period in order to keep qualifying. You have 4 chances per year — points reset and you'll start accruing them again. Thanks!

Thanks @DustiO! Do you think there will soon be other ways to acquire points besides responding to leads? That would certainly be nice. Some days are slow on Thumbtack for me and I don't get any leads.

Nothing in the near future is planned, but this is something that we can for sure consider (and have talked about) for next year or beyond!
