Customer changed job details

in my situation, a customer needed a job worth $50 but the settings were not placed right by the customer.
I got charged $134 for the lead and thumbtack denied the refund under job changed significantly. Specially, the customer was already an old customer from thumbtack. I got charged an insane amount for someone I already paid for a high amount. Any guidance on what to do?1 -
@mikeurresta I would try replying to Support and following up with any documentation you might have to back it up - I took a look at the lead, but the conversation in the app is all Thumbtack would have to go off of and it doesn't indicate any change in job details, which is most likely why it was denied. I am not able to help with refunds, but am happy to look into them and help follow up once submitted - so lmk if you do follow up. I am moving this to a separate thread, by the way, since this is a different topic :)

Would it work if I ask the customer to state in the conversation in the app the real scope of work that he had?

That may help, I'm not sure at this point, but it might be worth a try!
