What happened to the "File a Dispute" feature
I have a client that ripped me off $1000 and before I go to small claims court and name everyone involved (including Thumbtack), I remember there was a File a Dispute feature a couple years back. What happened to that.

There is a whole team at Thumbtack dedicated to helping resolve these types of claims. I don't think there was ever anything within product for filing a dispute for this, but you can see the whole process here. Hope this helps and sorry that happened!

I've just had the same issue with a customer and would love to know how to proceed!

@DustiO I filled out that form. Twice. Thumbtack never got back to me.

The customer has been reported. Hopefully some action is taken. Thank you!

@structuralguy65 when did you fill those out? I am not seeing anything when I look it up, but happy to dig deeper.

If it was back in April I can see an email that was sent in response with instruction to complete the webform — if this was the timeframe, were you able to fill that out? It would not have progressed any further if you didn't complete the form. This was sent on 4/21/26 at 8:49am MT.

@DustiO That was the first invoice. He paid that, but hasn't paid the final. I submitted the new form a week ago.

@structuralguy65 I reached out to the team and they don't have any form submissions from you since June. Can you let me know which customer it is so they can look further?
